The length, breadth and depth of the initial visit will vary according to your needs and circumstances.  However, as a new patient you can count on a few things.  First, an interview will be conducted to obtain a detailed history of your health situation.  After hearing your story a physical examination will take place to further investigate your current state.  We will also request your pertinent medical records from any other providers that you are working with now or in the past.  After reviewing all the information available we will have a discussion regarding your current state of health, my medical approach as it pertains to your situation and the potential outcomes we can pursue.  We will then construct a treatment plan that will address the reasons you came to the doctor as well as outline a long term program for your individual health and wellness.
