Nutrition is the basis a good health and good nutrition is founded on healthy dietary choices. However, in many cases what we should and should not eat is not always as simple as it once was. Food sensitivities are becoming more and more prevalent for a number of reasons including changes to our food supply and environment. The net effect that we observe clinically is that more and more people are experiencing reactions to the food they eat. We offer comprehensive testing to help our patients accurately identify food sensitivities and work together to construct a program to effectively modify dietary intake to address these reactions. Food sensitivities can manifest in a wide range of symptoms including headaches, acne, fatigue, joint pain, asthma, high blood pressure and cholesterol, and hormone imbalances.
